Donna Kelce revealed why she thinks pop icon Taylor Swift has been the perfect match for her son, Chiefs star Travis Kelce, during the premiere of the FX show “Grotesquerie.”
Donna told Page Six on Monday night that the relationship between the two has been “kind of interesting” and explained what makes them so good together.
“He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good,” she told the outlet. “He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she.”
Donna Kelce told Page Six why son Travis is the perfect match for Taylor Swift during FX’s “Grotesquerie” premiere.
Travis Kelce and Swift’s relationship has been the talk of the NFL since the two went public with their status last year after the “Blank Space” songstress appeared at the Chiefs’ Sept. 24, 2023, game against the Bears in Kelce’s box at Arrowhead, where she sat next to Donna.
Since that game, Swift has made a number of appearances to see Kelce play, including the Chiefs’ playoff run and Super Bowl win.
“I hope they’re having a good time,” Donna Kelce told Page Six about the relationship.
The Kelce clan has shot to fame thanks to the on-field success Travis and brother Jason during their time with the Chiefs and Eagles, respectively.
Jason Kelce retired after last season and has since joined ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” panel.
Travis Kelce has parlayed his fame into new ventures off of it, thanks in part to his relationship with Swift, which included his involvement with the 10-episode drama on FX.
“Oh, it’s so awesome. Just to be able to see your kids do what they absolutely love to do, and hopefully this is something he likes! I know he wanted to try [acting], so we’ll see how it goes,” Donna Kelce said.

She later added: “I just can’t believe what’s happened over the last couple years.”
Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are currently 3-0 after beating the Falcons on Sunday night — though the tight end is off to a slow start individually.
