NBA legend Dwyane Wade posted a sweet video of his daughter Kaavia James, age five, performing a recital dance on his Instagram account. Wade’s Miami Heat teammate and “goddad” Kaavia Haslem was present for the recital on Sunday.Wade’s youngest kid, Kaavia, was born via surrogacy in November 2018. Her parents run her Instagram account, which has over 1.8 million followers. She is well-known online for her facial expressions, which have given her the moniker “Shady Baby”.
Kaavia recently demonstrated yet another example of being a “Shady Baby” when her mother posted a photo from their May 26 WNBA game in Chicago, where the Chicago Sky took on the Connecticut Sun.Dwyane Wade treated her daughter Kaavia to a spa day in honor of Father’s Day.
On Father’s Day, Dwyane Wade posted pictures of himself with all five of his kids on Instagram as a way to reflect on his position as a father. The Miami Heat icon was shown giving his youngest child, Kaavia, a Father’s Day pedicure in the first photo on the carousel post.
The post was titled “The way I do Fatherhood…#HappyFathersDay,” by Wade.
Kaavia’s parents shared further details on the whole spa day they gave their five-year-old daughter for Father’s Day in a video that they uploaded to her Instagram.
“I am the best gift there is. They wrote, “Happy Father’s Day, Daddy! 🥰 @dwyanewade,” as the reel’s caption.In February 2002, Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife Siovaughn Funches welcomed their son Zaire into the world. This marked Wade’s first fatherhood. In May 2007, he and Funches also welcomed Zaya, and later that year, the couple parted ways. In 2011, Wade was given sole custody of the two kids.
In December 2013, Wade and his longtime friend Aja Metoyer had their third child, a son named Xavier. In addition, the three-time NBA champion is Dahveon Morris’s legal guardian, age 21.
