The tennis player enjoyed a trip with his family to Australia, where he confirmed that he is a great father and is smitten with his son
Is talent inherited? We have seen him triumph on the court countless times, skid to reach balls that were thought impossible, collapse in the face of defeat and raise his fist in victory.
And to lift all the trophies in the world of tennis. We can say that Rafa Nadal is already a legend. One of the most international and valued sportsmen in our country, and, above all, a fighter and faithful lover of tennis.

Rafa Nadal achieved his greatest reward when he became a father in October 2022, alongside his wife and life partner, Mery Perelló. Since then, we have seen few images of the entire little family, but in these latest photographs that ¡HOLA! published a few weeks ago, we were able to discover an unknown , yet tender, side of the Spanish tennis player. Accompanied, as always, by his wife, Mery Perelló, and his son, as well as his father, Sebastián Nadal, the three generations of Nadal went for a walk in a park near the hotel in Brisbane, Australia, where the family stayed during their stay in the antipodes. In the photographs we see a very human Rafa, who is drooling over his little one, making faces and immersed in the games of his son, who is now 15 months old and has started to take his first steps.
These images also left us with some of the funniest moments in which we see the tennis player’s son playing with a mini-sized racket , and, while his father carried him in his arms, he was hitting everything he saw, including the tennis player’s head. This tender and funny image made the king of Roland Garros and his son the centre of attention of everyone present. There is still a long way to go to see it, but… has a new star been born? Who knows if little Rafa will follow in his father’s footsteps on the court, although if this were the case, there is no doubt that he would have the best mentor to become a legend.
After 349 days away from the courts, Nadal picked up his racket again on January 2 , in the ATP competition in Brisbane, as a prelude to the Australian Open. However, he had to give up participating in the first Grand Slam of the season, due to the injury he suffered in the last match he played in this tournament.
